VanillaIP is built on BroadWorks SIP based soft switch platform bringing together the “best of both worlds”; the reliability, functionality, rich application sets of a PBX with the flexibility and ubiquity of IP networks.
Connectivity into VanillaIP is highly versatile. While it is expected that the majority of customers will utilize XDSL, this is purely a tariff and access issue. We can support service over the most cost effective access type for the customer.
The VanillaIP network core features rock solid, geographically redundant network integrity. This gives users the assurance of "Five 9’s" [99.999% uptime] without the need to make resilient design decisions and cope with the related cost penalties.
An array of checks and balances are in place for the system to self diagnose and manage itself. Fail over is automatic without the need for technical staff decision making.
There is no possibility of third party’s intercepting calls on the VanillaIP network. We support Secure Real Time Protocol [SRTP], the new industry standard for encrypting VoIP calls.
User access to the system is strictly partitioned and there is rigorous, multi – layer authentication to the network core. The VanillaIP network is distributed between two London data centers and is patrolled 24/7.
VanillaIP has been designed from the ground up to be Multi-Tenanted. This ensures that no user can see any other users information, including usernames, extensions, numbers, speed dials and the back end when viewing/managing invoices and services. We have a considerable mix of resellers, clients and users on the platform and maintaining this segregation is fundamental.
