VanillaIP Partners have 3 days of training in our Mitcham Customer Service Centre.

Qudo Agent Partners only need to attend the Sales Training day.

Day 1 - Sales

  • Network Overview - introduction to VoIP, SIP, xDSL and other access options
  • Feature Sets and User Benefits - Remote Office, Shared Call Appearance, Simultaneous Ring etc
  • Handset Options - Polycom, Cisco, WiFi, analogue devices and mobility options
  • User Applications - MiReception, Communicator, Call Centre, Unity
  • Demonstration Techniques - incl. firewall settings
  • System Specification - forecasting bandwidth, deployment models and feature mapping

Day 2 - System Administration

  • Fulfillment - Adding reseller services, building packages, branding the reseller and client portals, provisioning businesses, sites, depts and users
  • CPE configuration management
  • Number Porting - Keeping, adding new, porting to and from, 0845/0870 provision
  • Trouble Ticketing - Entering tickets, escalation, 1st level support, using the Expert System
  • Billing - Setting up tarrifs, service packages, discounting, exporting records, running management reports
  • Third Party Provisioning - Using the provisioning system to provision third party services using the OpenXML interface

Day 3 - Engineering

  • Circuit Testing - Monitoring packet loss and latency
  • Configuring CPE - Handsets, gateways and ATA's
  • Redundancy Options
  • Avoiding Problems! - Summary of whats gone wrong in the past and how to avoid doing it again
