The New Htek Cloud Phone Series: Oct 18, 2017

A recurring problem for Service Providers is that IP handsets are not designed specifically for BroadWorks. This means that there are local directories on the phone, limited integration and feature access with BroadWorks and “orphaned buttons”. A joint development between Htek and Uboss solves this by removing all intelligence from the handset, with all functionality programmed and mandated by Uboss. This includes, logo on screen, access to BroadWorks Group and Personal directories with dial-by-name, inbound directory name tagging, firmware revisions and button functions.

In a first for the UK channel VanillaIP are announcing guaranteed fraud protection. The resellers, and the customers, risk is now capped at three times the DAILY credit limit for the extension, which is typically £15.00. Uboss has extensive fraud protection levels that have been developed over the last 6 years which include near real time rating of both completed and “in flight” calls  features layers of security and will shut down a breached extension mid-call, if the extension breaches its individual credit limit

The Launch of Unity Dashboard: Dec 1, 2016

Packet Analyser: Sep 8, 2016

We are pleased to announce the release of Uboss Packet Analyser. This powerful diagnostic and reporting tool is used to proactively manage Users, devices and call quality on the VanillaIP platform, which in turns enables faster response and fix times on tickets.

This is a major customer service enhancement, Uboss PA is a new module being added to what is already a very powerful portal.  All new and existing Businesses and Users are automatically allocated Uboss PA.  Using logical name searches allows for a quick drill down; whether looking across the whole base or down to a single user, Uboss PA delivers the detail that is required.

New Unity Skin Migration: Aug 15, 2016

We are pleased to announce general availability of a new user interface for the Unity Windows apps. This maintains the existing orientation of the application, but greatly enhances user functionality with features such as Drag & Drop and Warm Transfer.

 The new skins are available now and will be delivered to your customers via auto-update, once this has been enabled in the Unity portal.

Enhanced Call Recording: Aug 11, 2016

We are delighted to announce a number of security and functionality enhancements to call recording that adds new functionality and improves security clearance for users to play back call recordings. This new capability is based on direct feedback from many resellers and has been in development by the Uboss team for some months.

Bulk Job and Bulk Service Configuration: Jul 6, 2016

Building on our founding principle of automating as many processes as possible and minimising back office tasks, we are pleased to announce two powerful new Uboss tools. Bulk Job and Bulk Service Configuration automate many of the actions involved in adding, updating and removing users from the platform and also configuring services.

Both are found in the Tools menu within Uboss and allow changes at both the Business and Site level. These bulk edit tools will work within the Channel Partner’s current go-to-market model, as only those packages and services which have been made available to customers will be presented for assignment when adding and updating users.

Number Porting in Uboss: Jun 6, 2016

To cope with significant acceleration for both hosted seats and number porting we have developed a new process and system for submitting and monitoring all port requests within the ever expanding Uboss Portal.

Demand for number porting closely maps general sales growth as customers naturally want to keep their numbers and this new enhancement is driven by the success stories from resellers in the field.
